Deputy Head Teacher 

The School Governors are seeking  to appoint a Deputy Head Teacher with a proven track record of excellent classroom practice who is child centred and will support our school values.

We are seeking an ambitious and energetic professional with experience of leading teams, monitoring teaching and learning, and with experience of successfully leading improvement and raising standards.

Primary Class Teacher (KS2)

Teaching Assistant (x2)

The Schools Governors are currently looking for two enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants (Nursery) and (Year 2) to join our team in September.

Applications are invited from high quality candidates to join an exciting and committed team at Suffah Primary School, to start in September 2019.

We are looking to recruit staff who are genuinely inspired to work within a strong, supportive team, delivering high quality provision for the children within our care; staff who are energised by thinking outside the box and making learning fun and fabulous.

Previous experience of working with children is essential as is flexibility and a sense of humour. We strive to offer the highest level of education and trust that you will have equally high expectations. The School offers a wide variety of CPD opportunities.

The successful candidate will have:

  • GCSEs at Grade C or above in English and maths (or equivalent qualifications).
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant to a Teaching Assistant role
  • Recent and relevant professional development.
  • Experience of working effectively supporting children in a learning environment.
  • Understanding of principles of child development and learning processes and barriers to learning

Midday Supervisor

We require an enthusiastic Midday Meal Supervisor to be part of a team responsible for the welfare and security of our pupils during the lunchtime period.

To encourage good manners and collaboration between children and supervise outside play activities

For the post you should have:

  • Ideally a qualification in childcare but not essential
  • Experience in a school environment but not essential
  • Literacy skills to complete accident forms, read policies, e.g. Health and Safety, confidentiality, school rules.

You will be:

  • Calm, enthusiastic, flexible and positive.
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Committed to equal opportunities.

Job Type: Part Time (2 hours per day)
