DESCRIPTION:•● UK VISIT OF SHAYKH YOSRY GABR ●••\n\nSunday 12th July – Monday 13th July 2026 \nHounslow Jamia Masjid & Islamic Centre are pleased to announce two days of gatherings with special guests Dr. Yosry Gabr د. يسري جبر (Egypt) \nItinerary \n12th July – 7.30pm Full Qasida Burdah Recital \n12th July – 9.30pm Dhikr Gathering \n13th July – 2pm Speech: Healing the Wounds of the Heart Through Faith \n13th July – 7.30pm Speech: From Hardness to Softness: A Journey of the Believing Heart \n13th July – 9.30pm Speech: Reclaiming the Narrative: The Quranic principles of compassion\, justice\, and tolerance. \nThe gatherings will include a series of special lessons throughout the day\, circles of Remembrance\, the full recital of the Burdah. \nDr. Shaykh Yosri is one of the most reputable scholars in Egypt and the Middle East who holds credentials in academia as well as Islam. Born in Cairo\, he is a qualified cardio and vascular surgeon who graduated from the University of Cairo in 1983 with a Masters Degree\, he began his journey in Islamic sciences by memorising the Qur’ān in the Riwāyah of Hafs with a sound chain\, and then also pursued into graduating in the traditional sciences of Islam from Al-Azhar University. Dr. Shaykh Yusri specialises in teaching various Islamic sciences such as Tafsīr\, Hadīth\, Fiqh (Shāfi’i)\, and Aqīdah at the grand mosque of Al-Azhar as well as various Mosques and institutes across Egypt as well as globally \nEvent is open to brothers and sisters. Food and refreshments will be provided.
